Sommelier-viinikorkkiruuvi ruusupuusta – Soft Machine

The gear mechanism honestly feels like cheating—one smooth pull and the cork just glides out without any of that wrestling I’m used to. The rosewood handle sits nicely in my palm and doesn’t slip even when my hands get a little sweaty mid-service.

I’ve gone through three cheaper waiter’s corkscrews this year, and this rosewood handle finally feels like it’ll last. The patented gear system pulls the cork out so steadily I didn’t even have to brace the bottle, which is a first for me.

Opened three bottles at a dinner party last night and the gear system really does pull the cork in one smooth motion, no wobbling or yanking. The rosewood handle feels solid in the hand, almost like a small piece of furniture. Even the oldest, crumbliest cork came out clean.
