The glass stopper seals tight enough that I don't worry about fridge smells getting in between pours, and the hand-blown shape really does open up the wine's nose after just a few minutes. It's become my favorite way to finish a bottle over two nights.

Watching the wine hit the wide base and open up in the glass was almost theatrical; the hand-blown shape really does let the aromas breathe. The stopper keeps it sealed tight enough that I’ve left a bottle out for two days and it still tasted fresh, which is more than I can say for my old carafe.

I was hesitant about hand-blown glass being fragile, but this decanter feels surprisingly sturdy yet elegant on the table. The wine opened up noticeably after just twenty minutes, and the stopper keeps the leftover perfectly fresh for the next day.
